Dr. Vazquez completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He obtained his Medical Degree from Ponce School of Medicine and undergraduate degree from the University of Miami.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Prior to joining Asheville Arthritis, Dr. Vazquez practiced Rheumatology in Henderson County, North Carolina for 5 years. Dr. Vazquez is bilingual in English and Spanish.
